Plaza de los Naranjos in Marbella Zero
Plaza de los Naranjos in Marbella is where Marbella Zero begins: a co-op zombie game set in the real old town of Marbella, Spain.
The real place
Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Tree Square) is the heart of Marbella old town. It was laid out after the Castilian conquest of 1485 and is framed by the Town Hall, the Casa del Corregidor and the Ermita de Santiago, with its stone fountain and the orange trees that give it its name.
In the game
In Marbella Zero this is where it all starts. The square is packed: if anyone fires, the whole square turns. On the game map the Pharmacy, one of the five machines that keep you alive, stands a few steps away, on the front of a real old-town pharmacy.
